Iris flower oil painting - October 21st.

A note to my followers:
Thank you to those that stopped by at Frisco Festival to see me and I especially want to express my apologies to those that came to the show to see me and didn’t find me, I had to leave earlier on Saturday afternoon back to my hotel room because I felt really sick. I am really sorry about that but I’m sure there will be another opportunity to meet soon. Thank you, thank you , thank you for understanding.
It was finally a bad cold and I’m still recovering…

About the painting:

Iris are a mystery for me, those intricate, capricious shapes… I’m not sure what they make me feel, they confuse me a little, but they are beautiful.

Seascape daily painting Cuchilla Alta Uruguay - July 9th.

Back at my studio and back to painting after some days out, I’ve been working on some new medium size regular paintings and today I completed the next daily piece from this new series of seascapes. In this one we can appreciate part of the rocky coast of “Cuchilla Alta” , the surf and the distant hills of “Piriápolis”. I hope you enjoy it and thank you!

Some days ago the pink flowers in my wild flowers' garden were blooming and they were beautiful !, I took some pictures at that time, today after the first days of cold weather they are gone, so I'm glad I took those pictures, I painted this piece on October 31st.

Highly textured impasto, due to the thickness of the paint strokes it needs some time for drying, estimated shipping time will be around December 1st.
