Description: I just started working on this portrait of a cat. I myself as a cat & animal lover, frequently meet people alike, that love their pets; and in these past shows I had the opportunity to talk with dozens of kind people that love animals and some of those have lost their pets and would like to commission a portrait as a tribute for the lost life.
This is one of them, a tribute to a very sweet companion called Minnie.
It is a work in progress, an oil painting on 11" x 14" stretched canvas, the eyes are almost ready, then I will start working on the fur and background.

Hello Everybody!
I'm back from a very busy week, working at the Red River Arts Festival in Shreveport LA showing and selling my work. It was a great festival as usual, this was my 5th year exhibiting my paintings there. The weather was certainly wonderful!
