Thank you to those that stopped by at Frisco Festival to see me and I especially want to express my apologies to those that came to the show to see me and didn’t find me, I had to leave earlier on Saturday afternoon back to my hotel room because I felt really sick. Iris are a mystery for me, those intricate, capricious shapes… I’m not sure what they make me feel, they confuse me a little, but they are beautiful.

Red River Revel arts festival Monica Fallini

Hi! I'm finally back at my studio!
The Revel was a great festival as usual, although the weather was not very favorable. There were many great things to mention, but I'm only going to show you my favorite for this year's Revel. It was the stilts' walkers performers, they were AWESOME, I just love them! Here I include some pictures.

I also want to thank TV channel NBC and anchor/reporter Jenna Zibton, Emi Fitzgerald and the camera man from the night news for interviewing me, allowing many people to see my art. They are very professional in what they do!

Thanks for your continuous support of my work and I'm heading for painting tomorrow, I will go back to the daily paintings but I also have to work on 4 commissions, so the amount of completed new pieces will be less than usual on these following weeks.

Cat eyes framed paintings - September 30th.

The "Cat's eyes" are finally framed! These are wood and clay white frames, they are double matted, under glass.

The pictures were taken from the sides to avoid glass reflection.

The size with frame is: 12 3/4" x 10 3/4".

The price if bought individually is $ 75 each.

Red River Revel Arts Festival

Hello ! Next Thursday I'm leaving to prepare everything for the Red River Revel in Shreveport, Louisiana. The Revel starts next Saturday, October 3rd. until October 10th.
Between tomorrow and Thursday morning I will still be shipping, but all online orders received after October 1st. will be processed and shipped AFTER October 11th.

This is the piece number 22 of the series "A dream of Hydrangeas".
As I describe in a previous post, Hydrangeas bring me memories of my grandmother, and some followers have told me how viewing these paintings reminds them of the their childhood. These flowers must have taken a place in many people's childhood; so for all of us that see Hydrangeas painted, in photos or in real life, they have enough charm to take us back to those magic days of being a child discovering the wonders of nature.
