Country landscape with tree en plein air painting - January 29th.

I usually paint indoors from photos I take outdoors or from my memories of landscapes or seascapes, etc. Today, one more time I went to paint outdoors, taking advantage of these wonderful warmer days in the middle of Winter. This time It is a view from my front porch.

En plein air painting country landscape - January 27th.

I usually paint indoors from photos I take outdoors or from my memories of landscapes or seascapes, etc. Today I went outside my studio, to my backyard and captured the view I had from there.

Painting outdoors is a challenge for several reasons, like cold windy days...but it is also inspiring. Today was a great day to paint outside and I may have more plein air paintings coming up soon!
