I usually paint indoors from photos I take outdoors or from my memories of landscapes or seascapes, etc. Today I went outside my studio, to my backyard and captured the view I had from there.
Painting outdoors is a challenge for several reasons, like cold windy days...but it is also inspiring. Today was a great day to paint outside and I may have more plein air paintings coming up soon!
