A note to my followers:
Thank you to those that stopped by at Frisco Festival to see me and I especially want to express my apologies to those that came to the show to see me and didn’t find me, I had to leave earlier on Saturday afternoon back to my hotel room because I felt really sick. I am really sorry about that but I’m sure there will be another opportunity to meet soon. Thank you, thank you , thank you for understanding.
It was finally a bad cold and I’m still recovering…

Iris are a mystery for me, those intricate, capricious shapes… I’m not sure what they make me feel, they confuse me a little, but they are beautiful.

Red River Revel arts festival Monica Fallini

Hi! I'm finally back at my studio!
The Revel was a great festival as usual, although the weather was not very favorable. There were many great things to mention, but I'm only going to show you my favorite for this year's Revel. It was the stilts' walkers performers, they were AWESOME, I just love them! Here I include some pictures.

I also want to thank TV channel NBC and anchor/reporter Jenna Zibton, Emi Fitzgerald and the camera man from the night news for interviewing me, allowing many people to see my art. They are very professional in what they do!

Thanks for your continuous support of my work and I'm heading for painting tomorrow, I will go back to the daily paintings but I also have to work on 4 commissions, so the amount of completed new pieces will be less than usual on these following weeks.

I have been missing posting, so here I publish some sketches of Calla Lillies from the Revel festival site. It is raining heavily right now !
I will probably do some more studies of Callas and also Iris for possible paintings, so I'll keep you updated.
