Flamingo painting #2 - November 30th

Today I decided to bring more birds from the big group to my daily painting, again it is a study of Flamingoes in oils, but this time I tried to keep it looser, not so detailed.

Please consider that in the last 2 posts, the 2 Flamingo's paintings, I could not get to take pictures that depict the true colors of the birds and the ground, I will try to take more pictures when the sunny days are back :)

Flamingo painting - November 29th

This one is a study of a Flamingo bird for a future larger painting, some time ago I took a picture of a wonderful group of Flamingoes at Tyler zoo, now I painted only one from the group with some landscape background. There will be a video on YouTube about the process of this painting. I am not sure when I will start the larger piece with probably the whole group of birds, but I hope it will be soon. Cardinal # 1 - March 6th.
